Case of the suicidal termites
The Lord works in mysterious and wonderful ways as experienced by members of Trinity Community Centre on many occasions back in the days when the Church was located in Jalan Maarof, Bangsar. He intervenes especially when His children are at the end of their tether with no other source of help except Him, often at the very last minute. Here is one testimony of God's faithfulness.
At one time the church building was so infested with termites that evidence of their presence could be detected by the sound of their wood chewing. As the church could not afford to employ the pest control agents all we could do was to fall on our knees for God’s intervention.
After a few days Pastor and his family who were staying there discovered on the verandah thousands of dead termites on the floor. They were falling from a cleft in the wooding pillar on to the hot floor, and were killed instantly by the intense heat of the sun. Later, Pastor consulted the pest control agency who said that they had never before encountered such a phenomenon!! |
